“I am in love with the G.W. Tush Roller Derby Shorts! Generally, I am not a fan of shorts and tend to stick with capris or pants at the gym or on the track. I can be very self-conscious about my lower body and fear the ‘overexposure’ that wearing shorts while training or skating can cause. That is why I am so excited about these shorts. They are the perfect cut. I love wearing them to run outdoors, cross-training at the gym and for derby. I never have to think twice about what I’m doing or how I look. They are so comfortable!! Thank you Lulu for designing something that fits a female athletes’ body!!”

LOVE the new fit and higher waistband of these shorts. I have a pair of the improved fit and original – the original pair is great but the new fit is definitely improved! As others mentioned, no rubbing or riding up. They are thinner than some other derby brand shorts I own, but not see thru in the back and no velcro snagging. I want to wear these to every practice and cross training.

I’m 135 lbs, 5′ 5″, normally US size 4 and I purchased a small and theres plenty of room to stretch (but they don’t feel like they’re going to slide down).

Most amazing shorts ever! I would recommend to anyone! I wear an XL and never have issues with the waistband rolling down or any other marks left on my body. Didn’t shift even in our craziest of derby drills. If I could rate more stars I totally would!

I love, love, love these shorts! I purchased them at Summer Slam last weekend and wore them for three bouts. They do not roll at all! They sit nicely on my thighs with no sausage roll marks. The waist sits nicely at my hips and does not dig in. The fabric is quite nice and it washes well. I have also worn them for an exercise class and they were great too! :) I am planning on purchasing a second pair soon.

I have them in XL and I am 5’10, 170 pounds and wear a size 12.

PS I would love to see them with a coloured stripe/panel or piping on the leg to match my pivot star uniform.

I love, love, love my shorts. They are super comfy, the length is just right, and waistband doesn’t make them feel like they are falling down. I wear them for more than just derby, which I can’t say for a lot of my other ‘derby’ shorts.

“I like the mid-length a lot for still feeling like shorts while also preventing “chub rub” on the inner thighs, which is the WORST. I feel like the super long ones might as well be a capri length once you put on knee pads, so this is for sure my preference. – anything else? Just that I am a fan of your fabric choice – not too thin, not too heavy – oh – and the back-butt coverage! Yes! that’s what I was forgetting! Thank you for always remembering that derby butts have a little more ooph than “normal” and need pants to not ride down in the back and expose us :)” Natalie aka Canadian Bacon, Junction City Roller Dolls Utah
